Before You Visit

Do you service all watch brands? +
We work with most Swiss and Japanese mechanical movements, as well as a range of European makers. If you are uncertain whether we can help with a particular piece, simply bring it in or send a photo — we will give you an honest answer at no charge.
How long does each service take? +
Essential Refresh is usually completed within two to three working days. Precision Regulation typically takes one to two weeks. Grand Restoration timelines are discussed individually and tend to range from four to twelve weeks depending on the complexity of the piece and parts availability.
What does the rate report include? +
The rate report is a one-page document noting the movement's daily rate (in seconds per day) across up to six positions — crown up, crown left, dial up, dial down, and so on. It records both pre-service and post-service readings so you can see the actual improvement. It is handed over with the watch at collection.
Do you polish cases and dials? +
Not as a default step. Cadran's approach to heritage and dress watches is conservational — we prefer to preserve original surfaces and patina. Case polishing or refinishing can be added to a service scope when the owner specifically requests it and understands the effect on the watch's character.
What if additional work is discovered during a service? +
We stop and contact you before proceeding with anything outside the agreed scope. You will receive a clear description of what was found and the additional cost involved. Nothing extra is done without your written or verbal approval.
Is it safe to send my watch by post? +
We accept watches by registered insured post for domestic Thai shipments. We recommend contacting us first so we can advise on the best packing method and confirm receipt. Many customers prefer to visit the atelier in person, which gives us the opportunity to discuss the piece with you directly.
