How Each Service Starts
Before any service level is confirmed, the watch is assessed. This assessment is brief, no-obligation, and shapes the scope of work. The goal is to identify what the movement actually needs — not to upsell to a broader service than is warranted.
Once the assessment is done, a written scope is confirmed with the owner before the case is opened. This document outlines what will be done, what it will cost, and when the work is expected to be complete. That scope does not change without the owner's direct agreement.

Essential Refresh
Battery renewal, strap fitting, and a seal check, finished with a gentle case and glass clean. This service is designed for quartz watches showing battery fatigue or needing a strap change, and for mechanical watches that simply want a clean before being worn again. The seal check ensures the case closure is still providing the original level of protection.
What Is Included
- Swiss-cell battery replacement (quartz movements)
- Strap or bracelet fitting and adjustment
- Gasket inspection and water-resistance seal check
- External case clean and crystal polish

Precision Regulation
Movement cleaning and multi-position accuracy adjustment, with a documented rate report handed over at collection. This service opens the case, removes and ultrasonically cleans the movement, replaces worn lubricants, reassembles, and adjusts the regulator across six positions until the rate sits within an acceptable tolerance. The written rate report records both the pre-service reading and the post-service result.

Grand Restoration
A meticulous restoration of dress and heritage pieces, balancing originality with reliable function across an unhurried schedule. Grand Restoration is designed for watches with significant age, mechanical complexity, or sentimental value that warrants a thorough approach. Work proceeds carefully, with period-correct parts sourced where possible and no irreversible changes made without explicit agreement.

- Complete disassembly with photographic documentation
- Part condition assessment and sourcing report
- Period-correct or nearest-available part replacement
- Dial and case conservation (non-destructive default)
- Full regulation and rate report at collection
- Final photography of completed work

Technical Standards
Secure Storage
Every watch is photographed on arrival, tagged individually, and stored in a locked cabinet when not on the bench.
Swiss Lubricants Only
All movements are lubricated with Swiss watchmaker oils sourced from Moebius. No general-purpose substitutes are used at any service level.
Microscope Inspection
Movements are inspected under a stereo microscope after assembly to check seating of parts and cleanliness of jewels and pivots.
Ultrasonic Cleaning
Parts are cleaned in an ultrasonic bath using watchmaker-grade solution. The cleaning process is timed and monitored rather than left to run arbitrarily.
Dry Pressure Testing
All closed cases are checked with a dry pressure tester before leaving the atelier. Water-resistance is verified, not assumed.
Written Documentation
Each job has a file: arrival photo, agreed scope, any parts used, timing results. Documentation is retained for twelve months after collection.
